The HIN Database is driven by our authorized licensees and supported by the fees of hundreds of licensee companies. These fees are used to fund ongoing data maintenance and verification processes, as well as the development of new initiatives.
As a result, HIN licensees share the burden of protecting the database from unauthorized distribution, thereby maintaining its viability and affordability. To assist licensees in determining which of their trading partners are eligible to receive HIN data, HIBCC provides authorized user lists. These lists are updated as changes occur.
