Membership
As the
primary standards development organization for health care, HIBCC
encourages participation from throughout the industry. Accordingly,
there are several avenues of participation within our organization,
each geared toward specific types of HIBCC activities or
participants.
Governing
Memberships are available to recognized associations and government
agencies who submit credentials to our Board of Directors for
approval. Because Governing Members obtain voting seats on our Board
of Directors, they must first be approved for membership in accordance
with the HIBCC bylaws.
Corresponding
Memberships are designed to allow individuals to stay on top of HIBCC
activities and serve on various technical committees. Individuals in
this category receive our quarterly periodical LINES and are able to
attend HIBCC conferences and Technical Committee meetings
or purchase HIBCC publications at discounted prices. Dues
for Corresponding Members are $150 annually.
Corporate
Memberships are available to companies who wish to support HIBCC
efforts. Employees of Corporate Members are entitled to attend HIBCC
conferences or purchase HIBCC publications at discounted
prices. In addition, fees
for Corporate Members to attend HIBCC
Technical Committee meetings are waived. Corporate Members also
receive one full-page advertisement per year in our quarterly
publication. Dues for Corporate Members are $2,500 annually.
